£30
Join me for a relaxed and creative evening exploring the art of collage, using a wonderful mix of magazine pages, vintage papers and found materials.
We’ll begin by creating a neutral, textured background using vintage book pages and music sheets. From there, I’ll guide you through building a simple still life using torn and cut pieces of paper, experimenting with colour, texture, shape and composition to create a rich and layered artwork.
Collage is a wonderfully accessible and playful way to make art, with no need for strong drawing skills.
You’ll have the freedom to experiment and discover how different papers and textures can come together to create an individual piece.
All materials will be provided, but you’re very welcome to bring along any special papers, old prints, magazine pages or scraps that you’d like to incorporate into your collage.
Whether you’re a complete beginner or returning to art after a break, you’ll be very welcome.
