Crochet Rug-making Workshop - Wednesday 14th May 6.00pm - 8.30pm
Create something beautiful for your home, while saving your old clothes from the recycling bin.
In this small-group workshop, suitable for beginners and experienced crocheters alike, you will learn:
- how to select and prepare your repurposed materials
- how to crochet using unconventional threads
- step by step guide to creating and finishing off your rug to best effect.
You are not limited to rugs of course. You can also create place mats, cosy beds for your pets, cushions, seat covers and more using the same technique. Note, you will not complete a full-size rug within the workshop timing, but you will leave with one in progress and the skills to complete it.
About your tutor: Mare of Natty Peeps, is not only a knitter extraordinnaire, but also a passionate advocate of sustainable creativity. Her knowledge of creating beautiful items with repurposed fabrics is second to none.
