Workshop 3 - Professional Communication & Business Essentials by Support The Makers & Unravel Thursday 20th March 6.30pm - 8.00pm
Our Professional Communication & Business Essentials workshop will empower you with the knowledge to communicate with clarity and confidence
Navigating the professional side of a maker business can be intimidating, especially if you’re used to working solo. From submitting market applications and handling customer emails to building connections, the skills required can feel beyond reach. Many makers find themselves struggling to present a professional image, which can lead to missed opportunities or misunderstandings with customers and collaborators.
Our Professional Communication & Business Essentials workshop will empower you with the knowledge to communicate with clarity and confidence. We’ll cover writing strong applications, setting up a professional email, and developing respectful, ethical practices to foster trust with your customers. Imagine feeling assured in every customer interaction, from replying to enquiries to networking within the maker community.
By the end of this workshop, you’ll be ready to:
- Confidently approach market applications and customer communications.
- Set boundaries and maintain respectful relationships that build trust.
- Position your business with professionalism, attracting loyal customers and meaningful collaborations.
