Needle-Felted Festive Fun
Create your own enchanting miniature woodland mushrooms using the art of needle
felting.
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to shape soft, colourful wool
fibres into delightful, whimsical fungi — perfect for hanging on your Christmas tree
or gifting to someone special.
This beginner-friendly session includes all materials: high-quality wool and felting
needles. Whether you’re a complete beginner or just getting back into art making, you’re very welcome. Just bring your creativity and festive spirit!
About your tutor:
Susan Mitchell is a nature-inspired illustrator passionate about bringing stories to
life through books, cards, and giftware. She loves working with watercolour and
painted paper collage, but drawing has always been at the heart of her practice.
When not working on illustration projects, she runs various creative workshops for
adults and children around Edinburgh.
Who it's for: Beginners, 14+
What to bring: Just bring your yourself and a willingness to explore - we will provide
everything else!
