In this fun and creative workshop, you’ll learn basic needle-felting techniques to craft a charming pincushion nestled inside a vintage teacup.
Using colourful wool fibres, you’ll build layers, shape textures, and create a personalised, functional piece perfect for your sewing kit or as a gift.
This is a relaxed, hands-on class perfect for beginners or anyone who loves crafting and slow, mindful making.
Whether you’re a complete beginner or just getting back into art making, you’re very welcome.
About your tutor:
Susan Mitchell is a nature-inspired illustrator passionate about bringing stories to life through books, cards, and giftware. She loves working with watercolour and painted paper collage, but drawing has always been at the heart of her practice.
When not working on illustration projects, she runs various creative workshops for adults and children around Edinburgh.
Who it's for: Beginners, 14+
