Discover the joy of monoprinting using a Gelli plate! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll experiment with stencils, mark-making tools, and layering techniques to create vibrant, textured papers.
These prints can be used for collage, sketchbooks, or any other creative project you like. This is a playful and experimental session – no prior experience required.
Whether you’re a complete beginner or just getting back into art making, you’re very welcome.
About your tutor:
Susan Mitchell is a nature-inspired illustrator passionate about bringing stories to life through books, cards, and giftware. She loves working with watercolour and painted paper collage, but drawing has always been at the heart of her practice.
When not working on illustration projects, she runs various creative workshops for adults and children around Edinburgh.
