Retail @ Leith Makers: Pop Up Opportunities - Stocked Artists Only
The Leith Makers shop is open Wednesday - Sunday 11.00am - 5.30pm (Closed on Wednesday for Winter Opening Hours). We stock original artworks, prints, ceramics and hand-crafted homewares from a wide range of artists, many living and working in Leith.
We are offering special introductory rates for weekend 'pop-up's available only to stocked artists, to allow you to specially promote a wider selection of your work.
Friday-Sundays are available for a free 3 day pop-up. Please use the form below to select all dates that you could run a 3-day pop-up, if you wish to do so.
If you want to run a 5 day (Wednesday to Sunday) pop-up simply select the weekend you want , and we can discuss at the point that dates are being confirmed. Note, on market weekends, we are instead offering a Wednesday-Friday pop-up.
The Details:
- In exchange for you staffing the shop during opening times (11am-5.30pm) you will be able to use an allocated part of our window display to promote your produce.
- You will also be provided with additional display space in the shop for the duration of your pop-up, exclusively for your own work.
- You will not be permitted to alter or cover up other displays, and you will be expected to take sales of other stocked artists work using Leith Makers Sum-up payment system. Products of yours that are not already stocked and inventoried in the shop can be sold direct by you using your own payment system.
- When we confirm dates with you, we will ask for a £50 deposit, which will be fully refundable on fulfilment of the allocated pop-up dates. We cannot guarantee that we can offer you your preferred dates, but we will try where possible. Stockist Pop-Up Refundable Deposit
We are delighted that you are taking us up on our offer of a free pop-up. Not only does this give you an opportunity to showcase more of your stock, and for interested customers to engage with you directly, it also helps us - as Carmen and I are both juggling other jobs to help financially support Leith Makers to ensure its success, and we need SOME time off! We hope this is a win-win!
We require a £50 deposit to secure the pop-up dates you have selected - which will be fully refundable if you fulfil the commitment. If for any reason you are unable to make it, please let us know asap - you might be able to find someone else suitable to operate the pop-up - swap dates etc, which would avoid forfeiting the deposit.
